About Us

The Rabbis Adler
We are Rabbis Amitai Adler and Julie Pelc Adler. Julie was ordained at Hebrew Union College in Los Angeles (a Reform seminary), in 2006; Ami was ordained at the Ziegler School of Rabbinic Studies (a Conservative seminary) in 2010, also in Los Angeles. We've been married for a little over two years. Part of the depth and richness of our relationship is the value we both place on Torah, theology, and the discussion of existential meanings and values of our texts. We're both writers, and that's part of what brought us together. So this seemed like a good way for us to share that aspect of ourselves, and to explore a new way for us to learn and teach Torah together.
